Luella Gear was an actress who was no stranger to being featured in numerous film roles throughout her Hollywood career. Gear began her career with a role in "Adam and Eva" (1923). Later, Gear acted in the musical "Carefree" (1938) with Fred Astaire and "Lady in the Dark" (NBC, 1954-55). Later in her career, Gear acted in "Phffft!" (1954). Gear passed away in April 1980 at the age of 83.
