Martin Garralaga worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Garralaga's earliest roles were in film, including "Law of the 45's" (1935), "Song of the Gringo" (1936) and "Boots of Destiny" (1937). He also appeared in "Another Dawn" (1937), "Outlaw Express" (1938) and "The Mad Empress" (1939) with Medea Novara. He kept working in film throughout the forties, starring in the Robert Mitchum western "West of the Pecos" (1945), "The Gay Cavalier" (1946) and the Joel McCrea adaptation "The Virginian" (1946). He also appeared in "South of Monterey" (1946). During the latter half of his career, he tackled roles in "Bela Lugosi Meets a Brooklyn Gorilla" (1952), the historical drama "The Fighter" (1952) with Richard Conte and the western "Law and Order" (1953) with Ronald Reagan. He also appeared in the Edmond O'Brien drama "The Hitch-Hiker" (1953) and the sports drama "The Ring" (1953) with Gerald Mohr. Garralaga last acted in the thrilling adaptation "Whatever Happened to Aunt Alice?" (1969) with Daisy Gerber.
