In the 1993 Canadian television production "Dieppe," Garber gives an excellent performance in his role as Lord Louis Mountbatten, the fiendishly ambitious and narcissistic English aristocrat who, during World War 2, engineered the amphibious military adventure against the French port which gives the production its title, in which nearly an entire division of brave Canadian soldiers were sacrificed to political objectives.

Superb Actor

Victor is a chameleon; he becomes whoever he is portraying. This is a man who has played both Jesus and the Devil with equal aplumb. He sings, dances, reads books on tape (with different voices for each character), and is a veteran of stage and screen. Not to mention the charities that he supports. He is a genuinely nice man!

I think that Victor Garber is one of the best actors around. He has amazing versatility. He can play comedy or drama. He does theater, television, and movies. He is also a very talented singer.

To me Victor Garber is one the best actors around. I have over 60 of his movies and most of the book on tape he was done.
