Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

This blond, boyish leading man was chosen to appear opposite Brooke Shields in the modestly-budgeted but much-discussed tropical adventure/romance, "The Blue Lagoon" (1980). Christopher Atkins later brought his Adonis-like looks and figure to several similar roles in mediocre films like "The Pirate Movie" (1982) and "A Night in Heaven" (1983). He made some appearances on TV in the mid-1980s (i.e., "Dallas", "I Love Liberty") before becoming a staple of action and filler TV-movies of the 90s.
