Constance Ford rose to fame as an actress, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of her Hollywood career. Ford worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "Kraft Television Theater" (NBC, 1946-1959), "Matinee Theater" (NBC, 1955-58) and "Philco Television Playhouse" (NBC, 1948-1956). She also contributed to "Search For Tomorrow" (CBS, 1951-1987), "Studio One" (CBS, 1948-1958) and "Woman With a Past" (CBS, 1953-54). She then appeared in the western "The Last Hunt" (1956) with Robert Taylor, "The Iron Sheriff" (1957) and "A Summer Place" (1959) with Richard Egan. She also appeared in the drama "House of Women" (1960) with Shirley Knight. Ford also appeared in "Shoot Out at Big Sag" (1962), the horror movie "The Cabinet of Caligari" (1962) with Dan O'Herlihy and the Troy Donahue dramatic adaptation "Rome Adventure" (1962). She also appeared in the Eva Marie Saint dramatic adaptation "All Fall Down" (1962) and "The Caretakers" (1963). Ford more recently worked on "The Ninth Annual Soap Opera Awards" (NBC, 1992-93).
