Died: January 28, 1950 Los Angeles, CA
Foote, a theatrical producer, had his first play, ‘Toby's Bow,’ produced in 1919. He went on to write a number of plays for the stage as well as screenplays for films. A few of his plays include ‘Julie the Great,’ ‘Tobey’s Bowl’ and ‘Tight Briches.’ He also authored the book ‘A Wedding Gift: And Other Angling Stories,’ a book about fly fishing.
