Mother of Maude Fealy, Margaret was a stage actress and head of an acting school in Denver for 25 years, once having Douglas Fairbanks as a pupil. Making her stage debut as a child with Richard Mansfield’s company, she later appeared on stage with several well known actors of the day. She played on Broadway in three shows: ‘Quo Vadis,’ ‘The Lady From Lane's’ and ‘Barbara.’ She was married to bandleader Rafaello Cavallo.
