When a man doesn+t come home one night his daughter and her boyfriend go out searching and encounter a giant spider in a cave near the man+s wrecked car. Coming back with the Sheriff, the spider is seemingly killed by DDT spraying, and the body then hauled for storage in the high school gymnasium. However, a loud dose of rock music by a teenage garage band revives the arachnid and sends it rampaging through the town.

A troublemaker returns to town only to find his old tearaway pals have joined a supervised motorcycle club. Friction erupts between him and the new leader about this goody-goody setup, and about the charms of gang moll Terry.

They keep meeting, and the relationship changes him to the extent that he plans on going to college and changing his life, which delights his parents (Eddie Binns and Frances Mercer).

Singer Joe E. Lewis fights to rebuild his life after gangsters slash his vocal cords.

A cartoonist/artist starts using the inane mutterings of his sleeping idiot of a roommate for his published strip. Soon, the "sleep-talking" starts to smack of political conspiracies and the CIA starts investigating the two. Meanwhile, two lovely models, living next door attempt to make boyfirends out of the pair.
