He was a very natural and strong actor. He seemed to have good chemistry with his fellow actors. It's too bad he didn't make more movies. Oh, and he was charming and adorable, too.

Tom Drake is the most under rated actor in movie history. Any man who can hold his own when onscreen with such bombastic personalities as Judy Garland, Gene Kelly, Lena Horne, June Allyson, Margaret O'Brien, Elizabeth Taylor, Perry Como, Cyd Charrise, Mickey Rooney, and a whole host of amazing people who I forgot to mention, is a genious in his own right. Plus, he is amazingly handsome, with loads of sex appeal. And FYI, the person writing this is under twenty five.
