Amy Douglass rose to fame as an actress, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of her Hollywood career. Douglass began her career with a role in the comedy adaptation "Please Don't Eat the Daisies" (1960) with Doris Day. She went on to act in "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" (1964) and "Duel" (ABC, 1971). Later in her career, Douglass acted in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (1977).
