Troy Donahue was a very big movie star at Warner Bros. His movies with Delmer Daves: A Summer Place, Parrish, Susan Slade and Rome Adventure are great movie watching experiences.

Este filme é um grande classico. E até hoje agrada o público pelo seu romantismo e também pela trilha sonara do filme que é tão linda. Eu amo este filme de paixão. Acho um filme perfeito.

I think that Troy Donahue was a very memorable actor, not a great actor, but he did have screen chrisma, which allot of actors did not have. My favorite Donahue film was Parrish (1961) with Karl Malden and Claudette Colber and Troy did a decent job and I really enjoyed the film, too bad it is not available in your library on DVD. I did record it years ago in VHS format but that will be gone in a few years. Any chance that I can purchase some of his films on DVD eg. A Summer Place, Rome Adventure, Susan Slade, these are among my favorites in additon to Parrish. Thanks for letting me comment. Jim Elbrader

Ah, Troy Donahue. He may not have been the greatest actor, but what actor could surpass him in the looks department. He made a lot of good and not so good teen movies that are enormous fun to watch.

As a kid, I just loved to watch and rewatch his old movies. The romance, his good looks, and soft-spoken manner.........

I think Mr Donahue was a very good looking actor and underneath those good looks was a very talented actor who should have been given a chance to do more ! Troy even though I am 47yrs old "I MISS YOU DEARLY "

TROY DONAHUE WAS A TEENY BOOPER'S DREAM. HIS GOOD LOOKS AND SWAGGER IS MISSED SINCE HIS UNTIMELY DEATH IN 2002. TOO BAD HOLLYWOOD TURNED IT'S BACK ON DONAHUE'S UNTAPPED TALENTS. INSTEAD THEY GAVE HIM B TYPE MOVIES AND APPEARED NOT TO TAKE HIM SERIOUSLY AS AN ACTOR.
