Dickey scripted a number of serials and chapter plays during his career. The serials included: "The Perils of Pauline" and "The Exploits of Elaine" in 1914, both starring Pearl White. He also wrote episodes for "Beatrice Fairfax" in 1915 as well as, "Flaming Frontier," "Gordon of Ghost City" and "Mandrake the Magician." In addition, he wrote chapters for Universal's "Flash Gordon" serial, many starring Charles Middleton.
