BIOGRAPHY

Actress-musician Taylor Dayne made a splash in Hollywood both on and off-screen. Dayne's early music mostly appeared in comedies like "Fried Green Tomatoes" (1991) with Kathy Bates and Jessica Tandy and "Blank Check" (1994). An actress as well as a musician, Dayne played a part in "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve '89" (ABC, 1988-89). She continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in the Warren Beatty drama "Love Affair" (1994) and "Fool's Paradise" (1997) with Corey Parker. Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Stag" (HBO, 1996-97). Dayne's music was also featured in the Hilary Duff comedy adaptation "The Lizzie McGuire Movie" (2003) and the Kate Bosworth comedy "Win a Date With Tad Hamilton!" (2004). Most recently, Dayne appeared in "Rachael Vs. Guy Celebrity Cook-Off" (Food Network, 2011-15).
