Fine actor gone too soon
- Mary Melinda Kinnaird
- 2008-02-11
Brad Davis was a fine actor who died far too soon. I don't know if his ego or typecasting prevented him from more box-office hits after Midnight Express and Chariots of Fire, but whatever the role was, he gave 100% and was very good. I wish I had known him and more of his work while he was still alive. Anyone can say what a great actor or fine person someone was after their death. Like Davis' widow and family, I prefer to think of his fine film and TV work and how he loved those in his life while he was here. I think everyone should know of him as a fine actor and not one of (if not the first) celebrity casualty of AIDS.
