Michael Culkin was widely known for his acting on the big screen. Culkin started his acting career landing roles in such films as "Candyman" (1992), "Immortal Beloved" (1994) with Gary Oldman and "The Woodlanders" (1997). He also appeared in the action picture "The Fifth Element" (1997) with Bruce Willis, the Toby Stephens dramatic adaptation "Photographing Fairies" (1998) and the Catherine McCormack dramatic adaptation "Dangerous Beauty" (1998). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Robert Carlyle action movie "Plunkett & Macleane" (1999), the comedy adaptation "Relative Values" (2000) with Julie Andrews and the crime flick "Place Vendôme" (2000) with Catherine Deneuve. He also appeared in the Meryl Streep dramatic adaptation "The Hours" (2002). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "L' Ile Aux Tresors" (2007) with Gérard Jugnot, the Martin Freeman dramatic biopic "Nightwatching" (2007) and the dramatic adaptation "Dorian Gray" (2009) with Ben Barnes.
