BIOGRAPHY

Eileen Crowe was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Crowe worked on a variety of projects during her early entertainment career, including "The Plough and the Stars" (1936) starring Barbara Stanwyck and "Rising of the Moon" (1957) starring Cyril Cusack. Crowe began to focus on film after appearing in the James Cagney action film "Shake Hands With the Devil" (1959) and the dramatic adaptation "A Terrible Beauty" (1960) with Robert Mitchum. Later in her career, Crowe acted in the Peter Finch dramatic adaptation "Girl With Green Eyes" (1964).
