An orphaned young woman lives with her oddball, shrewdish aunts. She decides to goe on a trip to continue her studies, but finds herself getting pregnant, and then must lie to her aunts that the baby she brings back is really someone else's.

A happy and unbelievably lucky young Irish immigrant, John Lawless, lands a job as the butler of an unconventional millionaire, Biddle. A Disney musical punctuated by snappy songs and an energetic debut by Tommy Steele. This is reportedly one of the last live- action films Walt Disney personally oversaw.
