Having seen most of Tom Conway's movies I am left with the impression that unlike his brother, George Sanders, Mr Conway didn't have the drive to go for more demanding roles. in a mediocore movie "Whistle Stop" he is so good as the smooth villain knocking George Raft out of every scene. He was equally good in "I Walked With a Zombie" where he showed he could be a romantic leading man.If the booze hadn't ruined his career he could have ended up playing parts that John Williams did in A Movies. He made some interesting thrillers in England that are seldom scne in North America.

  • You Omitted Some Falcon movies

I am a long time fan of Tom Conway and the Falcon movie series. However, I have a complaint with TCM. The last two times you showed the Falcon movies two were omitted: "The Falcon's Alibi" and "The Falcon's Adventure". Will they ever be shown ?

  • Bravo for Tom Conway - deceased actor of Falcon

Thank you for the Falcon movies. I enjoy Tom Conway so much...a debonair, sophisticated, highly conscious person and actor. Seems kind, aware, highly intelligent, graceful, and just a sterling all-around person. His detachment, humor, and attractive demeanor make him tops in my book. Hope you show more of his movies....
