  • The dark and handsome gentleman

I first saw him on the Twilight Zone and had to look him up. He was another one of those rare gem kind of actors, the kind that is often overlooked. He was so well suited for film noir, because he seemed like such a mysterious person in real life as well. I read that he was a very shy and quiet person, which you can tell by watching him, but he had a knack for acting and always added something special to whatever role he played in any show or film. And of course he was a very handsome man too. A real classy gentleman.

I never get tired of watching Richard Conte. However, there are lots of titles I haven't seen in years such as "The Hollywood Story" and "Under the Gun". Has Conte ever been given the Star of the Month treatment on TCM. Now that, boys and girls, would be a month!
