While Stefania Rocca is best known by international audiences for her roles in films like "The Talented Mr. Ripley" and the 2002 TV adaptation of "Dracula," she has found consistent work on the Italian screen since 1995. After completing studies at the Experimental Center of Cinematography in Italy, she traveled to America to follow her passion by enrolling in the New York Actors Studio. Rocca received her first significant on-screen role as Chiara, a singer and the object of two friends' affections, in Antonio Tibaldi's 1996 drama "Correre contro." Following a supporting role opposite Christopher Lambert in the sci-fi thriller "Nirvana," she landed a much more demanding part as the lead in the psychologically devastating mental institution drama, "Inside/Out." But Rocca reached her largest audience to date in 1999 when she played Dickie Greenleaf's secret Italian lover in Anthony Minghella's acclaimed thriller "The Talented Mr. Ripley," starring Matt Damon and Gwyneth Paltrow. Opportunities to work with two iconic directors followed, with Rocca portraying Jacquanetta in Kenneth Branagh's adaptation of the Shakespearean comedy "Love's Labour's Lost," and the lead police officer in Giallo icon Dario...
