He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The Incredible Ida Early" (1986-87), "Grand Slam" (1988-89) and "Night of 100 Stars III" (NBC, 1989-1990). He also appeared in "The Record Breakers of Sport" (HBO, 1989-1990) and "Made in the USA" (NBC, 1993-94). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Hank Aaron: Chasing the Dream" (TBS, 1994-95) and "The Journey of the African-American Athlete" (HBO, 1995-96). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Baseball" (PBS, 1994-95). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Arli$" (HBO, 1996-2003).
