Jeremy Clyde was an actor who graced the silver screen many times throughout his Hollywood career. Clyde started his acting career landing roles in films, such as "Invitation to the Wedding" (1973), the Michael Caine comedy "Silver Bears" (1978) and "ffolkes" (1980) with Roger Moore. He also appeared in the TV movie "Charles & Diana: A Royal Love Story" (ABC, 1982-83). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "The Pallisers" (PBS, 1976-77). He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in the Mel Smith comedy "Wilt" (1990), "Splitting Heirs" (1993) and the Andre Eisermann period drama "Kaspar Hauser" (1996). He also appeared in the TV special "The Importance of Being Earnest" (PBS, 1985-86). In his more recent career, he continued to act in the action picture "The Musketeer" (2001) with Catherine Deneuve and the Aamir Khan dramatic period piece "The Rising: Ballad of Mangal Pandey" (2005). He also was featured in the TV movie "Strangler's Wood" (1998-99). He held additional roles in television including a part on "Downton Abbey" (PBS, 2010-).
