In 2000, Kidder landed a role in the docudrama "Blessed Stranger: After Flight 111," about the aftermath of the notorious 1998 airline disaster. Two years later, Kidder picked up a nomination from the Gemini Awards for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role for "Tom Stone." She starred as Corporal Marina De Luzio of the Canadian Mounted Police in all 26 episodes of the series. Kidder returned to horror in 2004, playing the director of a drug rehab clinic in the lycanthropic cult hit "Ginger Snaps: Unleashed."
