After their robberies they ride off on different mounts while Casino hides the paint horses. Tom learns the name of the leader when Casino confesses but he and a few men are then trapped in a ranch house when the gang attacks.

But first Tom must win the race for Carrol although Morley's stages have him greatly outnumbered.
