Actor Jim McMullan was known for his roles on the silver screen. McMullan kickstarted his acting career in various films such as the western "The Raiders" (1963) with Robert Culp, the drama "Shenandoah" (1965) with James Stewart and the comedy adaptation "Happiest Millionaire" (1967) with Fred MacMurray. He also appeared in the Robert Redford dramatic adaptation "Downhill Racer" (1969), "The Windsplitter" (1971) and "Extreme Close-Up" (1973). He kept working in film throughout the seventies and the eighties, starring in "The Incredible Shrinking Woman" (1981) starring Lily Tomlin. He also starred in the TV movies "Stowaway to the Moon" (CBS, 1974-75) and "Francis Gary Powers: The True Story of the U-2 Spy Incident" (NBC, 1976-77). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the action film "Assassination" (1987) with Charles Bronson, the Mike Myers comedic adventure "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" (1997) and the Arnold Schwarzenegger blockbuster action flick "Batman & Robin" (1997).
