Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

Actress Elaine Hendrix has played in wide variety of films and television series, but may be best remembered for her part in the remake of "The Parent Trap," with Lindsay Lohan. Hendrix began her career as a model and dancer before a car accident, while she was riding her bicycle, dashed her career hopes. That didn't stop her from finding acting parts in various television series, including a regular role as Agent 66 on the short-lived 1995 revision of "Get Smart." She held a supporting role in the ditzy girl comedy "Romy and Michele's High School Reunion" before stepping up to the fiancé of Dennis Quaid's character in "The Parent Trap." In the "Saturday Night Live" spinoff "Superstar," Hendrix played a rival cheerleader of Molly Shannon. In the inventor sleuth sequel "Inspector Gadget 2," she survived substantial mayhem as a robotic love interest. In the new spin on the story of the girl who hears God speaking to her, "Joan of Arcadia," Hendrix she held a recurring role as a teacher. Amid her many television appearances, the actress both co-produced and starred in "Good Intentions," a comedy about a scheming wife with an elaborate plan to save her family from financial disaster, featuring Luke Perry...
