Various romantic entanglements occur among the week's visitors to a Club Med resort in Ixtapa, Mexico. The "chef du village" is shocked when a former lover turns up, and must also cope with the troubled son of a close pilot friend killed on a rescue flight.

The mystery is solved 94 minutes later, after Maureen has conquered Tony and Tony has saved Marueen's life by caping a toro bravo with his plaid horse blanket.
