COMPLETE FILMOGRAPHY WITH SYNOPSIS
Cast (feature film)
Orson Welles is Benjamin Franklin in this first film dealing with the story of Lafayette, the 19 year old pacifist who takes the side of the Colonials during the American war of Independence. The young man received the greatest honor given to a stranger: to tour the country as the nation's guest.
An aging jetsetter wins a yacht in a Deauville casino gamble and takes off on some adventures with his former mistress and some other friends, but at the end realizes that true love has eluded him.
A girl from the slums rises to be an actress, has an affair with a high-government official, leaves him for another, and then must face the consequences.
Five young teenage delinguent boys decide to flee their families and their city, but get caught up into trouble in their attempt to run away.
Charles Pellegrin, 40-year-old country doctor, buys a practice in Arles, a provincial town near Marseille. In five years, he has a large practice and a lovely (but more efficient than passionate) wife, when he meets spectacularly sexy, sensuous Martine, who seduces him. Soon, he's honoring that old French custom of keeping a mistress. At first Martine brings romance, then passion into his life...then black jealously and despair.
