This attractive, thin, dark-haired actor was chosen by the 'Chairman' himself to play the title role in the 1992 miniseries "Sinatra." Philip Casnoff has gone on to forge a TV career which has included a strong role as Sgt. Vitelli in the gritty, noir series "Under Suspicion" (CBS, 1994-95) and playing opposite Brooke Shield in the pilot for her TV series debut, "Suddenly Susan." (He was ultimately replaced when the series was revamped).

"Shogun: The Musical" may be an experience Casnoff would sooner forget. Not only did the show flop, but he was knocked unconscious at dress rehearsal by falling scenery, yet rallied to appear the next night.
