Art Carney was a wonderful believable actor in all his roles. Just saw "Harry and Tonto".. what a film, really. Too bad he was often overshadowed by Gleason. Mr. Carney, Thank you for all your work... and being so just nice guy. Really, Thank you. Sincerely, Susan

  • Much laughter, some sadness

Mr. Carney was a truly wonderful actor. Emmy awards for his work on the Honeymooners, accolades for his stage work in the Odd Couple, and of course an Academy Award. Great comedian but talented all-around performer as evidenced by his roles in the Twilight Zone and the marvelous films Harry and Tonto and The Late Show. There is a sense of sadness that we have so few films by this talented character. His TV career was just that marvelous, so it kept him busy. Still he left behind a true legacy of laughter.
