COMPLETE FILMOGRAPHY WITH SYNOPSIS
Cast (feature film)
Co-stars have an affair while filming the story of a doomed love.
Foreign Legion Major Foster (Hackman), an American haunted by his memories of the recently-ended Great War, is assigned to protect a group of archaeologists at their dig. Foster's unit includes the charming, thieving rascal Marco (Hill), who joined the Legion only to avoid prison. After long stretches portraying the boredom and hardship of day-to-day life in the Legion, Foster's command occupies a small village where the archaeologists believe they've found a burial site sacred to the Arabs. An Arab leader (Holm) uses this affront to unite the tribes in Jihad, and attacks the tiny Legion garrison at the dig. An epic battle follows, very reminiscent of the film "Zulu". Costumes, firearms, and props are all very authentic-looking, and show great attention to detail.
A sophisticated London widow renounces a successful business career -- and the man who loves her -- to become a cloistered Benedictine nun. Diana Rigg won an Emmy Award nomination for her performance in the lead role.
An account of the apparent demoniacal possession of the 17th-century nuns of Louden, climaxing in the burning of their priest as a sorcerer.
The understudy goes on for the star and finds love.
In the twenties, two free-thinking sisters try to balance sexual passion with independence.
Based on a famous stage play and set in the year 1912, an upper crust English family dinner is interrupted by a police inspector who brings news that a girl known to everyone present has died in suspicious circumstances. It seems that any or all of them could have had a hand in her death. But who is the mysterious Inspector and what can he want of them ?
