Jimmy Boyd was a great addition to any film comedy after having enjoyed several successes in his career. Boyd began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as "High Time" (1960), "Inherit the Wind" (1960) with Spencer Tracy and the Mickey Rooney drama "Platinum High School" (1960). He worked in television in his early acting career, including a part on "Bachelor Father" (1957-1962). He kept working in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, starring in the comedic fantasy "The Two Little Bears" (1961) with Eddie Albert and the Glen Campbell drama "Norwood" (1970). He also appeared in the TV special "The House Next Door" (1963-64). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Saturday Night Live" (1975-). Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Space Force" (1977-78). Boyd last provided music for the dramedy "Holy Smoke" (1999) with Kate Winslet. Jimmy Boyd passed away in March 2009 at the age of 70.
