A pilot film about a fugitive gunfighter, disguised as a preacher, who is faced with defending townspeople at the mercy of a crooked land baron.

Hombre (1967) as Soldier
In this film more is said with just one look than in 100 cute one-liners. An Indian policeman travels by stagecoach and encounters more than his share of trouble. Filled with hard looks, calmly delivered threats and lots of gun play. There are also women involved.

A Distant Trumpet (1964) as Sergeant Kroger
Donahue is a young, enthusiastic lieutenant sent in 1883 to a desolate Arizona fort which soon becomes a powder keg. A battle with the local Indians rages while Donahue is involved with both McBain and Pleshette. The latter is the lucky girl who hitches heart-throb Donahue.
