Fred Walton worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Walton began his acting career appearing in various films, such as "The City" (1926), "Below the Deadline" (1929) and "Dynamite" (1929). He also appeared in "Sin Takes a Holiday" (1930), "Kiki" (1931) with Mary Pickford and "The Big Gamble" (1931). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the thirties and the seventies, appearing in the Otto Kruger horror movie "Dracula's Daughter" (1936), "Torture Ship" (1939) and the dramatic adaptation "Lili" (1953) with Leslie Caron. Walton also acted in "Going to Pieces: The Rise and Fall of the Slasher Film."
