Denise Alexander began her entertainment career as a 17-year-old child actress. At the start of her acting career, Alexander appeared in dramatic series like "Clear Horizon" (CBS, 1959-1962), "Ben Jerrod" (NBC, 1962-63) and "Another World" (NBC, 1963-1999). Alexander began her entertainment career acting in films like the James Whitmore crime picture "Crime in the Streets" (1956). She was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "General Hospital" in 1975. She continued to work steadily in television throughout the sixties and the eighties, appearing on "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965-). She also appeared in the TV special "Mrs. Capper's Birthday" (PBS, 1986-87). She also starred in the TV movies "The Lindbergh Kidnapping Case" (1975-76), "Sakharov" (HBO, 1983-84) and "The Endless Game" (Showtime, 1989-1990). She also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Days of Our Lives" (NBC, 1965-). Alexander had a number of different projects under her belt in the eighties and the nineties, including "The High Life" (ABC, 1989-1990), "Mermaids" (1990) and "Danielle Steel's "Zoya"" (1995-96).
