    Martha Vickers was a young knockout in The Big Sleep. As much as I like "Baby", Martha was the one to watch in this movie. It's a shame her career never matched her beauty.

    martha vickers made her best films at warners in such films as the big sleep with bogie. she played the spoiled rich girl . her best impact was with the immortal actor, jack carson. after she married mickey rooney her career seemed to have slid into minor films. she was beautiful. martha died very young.
