Nelson Vasquez was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Known for making audiences laugh, Vasquez began his acting career in comedies like the Joselyn Marcano film "Delivery Boys" (1984), "Do the Right Thing" (1989) with Danny Aiello and Ossie Davis and "The Bonfire of the Vanities" (1990) with Tom Hanks and Bruce Willis. He also appeared in the TV movie "It's Always Something" (ABC, 1989-1990). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). His film career continued throughout the nineties in productions like the Wesley Snipes action picture "Money Train" (1995), the dramatic adaptation "Extreme Measures" (1996) with Hugh Grant and the Theresa Randle dramedy "Girl 6" (1996). He also appeared in the Doug DeLuca comedic drama "Men Lie" (1997). He also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "NYPD Blue" (1993-2005) and "New York Undercover" (Fox, 1994-98).
