BIOGRAPHY

Veteran Hollywood writer whose screenplays include "Hallelujah" (1929), "Susan Lennox: Her Rise and Fall" (1931) and "The Foxes of Harrow" (1947). Tuchock was one of the few women to receive directorial credit on major studio features--as co-director with George Nicholls Jr on "Finishing School" and as director of "Ready For Love" (both 1934; also writer of both).
