Claire Trevor is a real doll. In "Murder My Sweet" she is a smokin hot babe. I think Dick Powell made the wrong choice--I would have gone over to the dark side to be with her. She deserves every accolade for her acting and more so for her inviting looks!

I've always been a big fan of Claire Trevor. She's always brought depth to the roles that she has played. She was absolutely amazing in "Key Largo." I think everyone that has seen that movie remembers the scene where Edward G. Robinson made her sing before she could have a drink and as she sang, I felt her pain and anxiousness for that drink. And it was heartbreaking when he wouldn't give it to her. She definately deserved the Academy Award that year. Another movie you should check her out in is "Born to Kill." Even though it's a forgotton gem, Miss Trevor holds her weight as the femme fatale protaginist. At the time it was treated as a B movie, but she can act circles around her co-stars. It was too bad that this movie was supposed to promote Laurence Tierney, because Claire Trevor's character is far more intriguing. If this movie was released today, I'm sure it would've been rated R. She deserves her title as "The Queen of Film Noir." If you like noirs, look for titles with her. I know I didn't really like noirs until I watched her movies. She was beautiful and unique, and I hope she will never be forgotten. I hope I can find some good information on her because I would like to write a biography on this legend.
