Interesting face often out of place
- Oliver Cutshaw
Ms. Talbott was an attractive, very competent actress who had the good fortune and bad luck to be in a number of cheapie horror films of the 1950's. Afterall a job is a job in the film business. Her understated style and pleasant voice added a touch of class to many a modest production like the Daughter of Dr. Jekyll and the Cyclops. She had something, a wistful vulnerability, a touch of elegance but most of her films did not give her too many chances to shine. Still 50 years later they are still around. I Married a Monster from OuterSpace is probably her best film.
Golria Talbot born 1931, and worked as a child actress in films, in 1945 worked in A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, she then married after high school, the marriage ended, and she went back to acting. first on stage, then in western films, and TV shows, she made a mark in b film sci fi films, such as 1958's I Married A monster From Outer Space ( alot better film then it sounds) with Tom Tryon. her career continued in films, and TV, after her final film An Eye For Eye in 1966 she left film, and TV. She passed away in 2000.
