Jacques Spiesser was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Spiesser's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the Muriel Catala romance "Faustine et le bel ete" (1971), the comedy "The Grand Bazar" (1973) with Les Charlots and the comedy "La Gifle" (1974) with Lino Ventura. He also appeared in "L' Ironie du Sort" (1974), "Un Homme Qui Dort" (1974) and "Le Petit Marcel" (1975). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like "L' Amant de poche" (1978), "Meme les momes ont du vague a l'Ame" (1979) and "The Trout" (1982). He also appeared in "On a Vole Charlie Spencer!" (1986) with Francis Huster. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the drama "La Vie moderne" (2000) with Isabelle Huppert, "De l'Histoire ancienne" (2001) and the Sandrine Bonnaire dramatic adaptation "C'Est La Vie" (2001). He also appeared in "She's One of Us" (2005) with Sasha Andres and the drama "Itineraires" (2006) with Lionel Abelanski. Most recently, Spiesser acted in the Yvan Attal drama "Le dernier diamant" (2014).
