NOTES

"If I make a move, like raise my eyebrows, some critic says I'm doing Nicholson. What am I supposed to do, cut off my eyebrows?"---Christian Slater in US, September 1991.

"While doing 50 in a 35 mph zone in West Hollywood, Slater, then twenty, tried to outrun a police car, drove into an alley, and slammed into a telephone pole. To make matters worst, he got out of the car, tried to scale a chain-linked fence, and struggled with the three arresting officers. 'I hit bottom with it, really,' he says."---From PREMIERE, April 1994.

"Always wear shoes that taste good, 'cuz they usually end up in your mouth."---Christian Slater, quoted in USA Today, c. 1994.

"My mistakes do happen on a grand scale and very public level. They're humiliating, embarrassing. But if nothing bad happens to you, you'll just continue to act ridiculous."---Slater in USA Today, December 14, 1997.

The wife of actor Christian Slater was arrested November 2003 for domestic battery after allegedly throwing a glass at the actor.
