Ariana..go to Amazon.com and do a search on BLONDIE. You may purchase the BLONDIE movies in a box set. I did !! I too love those movies and think TCM should show them to the public once in a while. Penny Singleton was a wonderful beautiful actress and deserves to be remembered and honored on TCM.

I remember when I was young, I would watch Blondie & Dagwood movies every Saturday in the late morning/early afternoon hours back in the 70's. I can not believe that TCM does not show them. These films that Penny Singleton & Arthur Lake had made were so very very funny. Not to mention the baby and their dog, Daisy. I know that if myself & Renee here are interested in seeing them, there are a lot more people in America that would love to see them also. Lighthearted comedies are the best to watch, along with fantasy films because that is what escaping into the world of film is all about. It gets you to forget your troubles, even if for a short time. And in this day, considering all the bad things in this world, we need some form of escapism.

  • More Mae Wst, W.C. Fields & Joe E. Brown!

In the early 30's these were some of the funniest comedians around. I would like to see the movie W.C Fields was in called "The dentist". I think that was the name. It was a scene where W.C. Fields had a woman in a dentist chair he had his whole body on top of her; trying to pull her teeth with a pair of pliers. It was one of the funniest scenes I've seen with W.C. Fields. Can you have a day with W.C. Fields. Also More more of Mae West I just love her humor. I remember watching these movies with my mom she would chuckle at something Mae West said. I would ask her what was so funny...she would reply, "you'll understand when you get older....looking at the few times I've seen the movies I get it now. How clever cinema was to make a joke only the adults would understand and yet it would go over a childs head. More More More of these great comediens. Please

I've been watching TCM for years and I love it. I it reminds me when I was a kid on Sundays watching the old flicks. One set of films I truly wish TCM would put on is the Blondie & Dagwood series. I cannot believe movies buffs wont clammer for the series. Do you think you could put on one or two of the series; then see what the audience says. I've tried to look for the Dagwood & Blondie series in the store to no avail.

Hello. I don't know how else to write to you, but I was wondering why we never get to see Blondie and Dagwood movies. I enjoyed them much. Thankyou for your time.
