George Bloomfield enjoyed great success as a director due to his unique perspective of the world. Early on, Bloomfield directed a variety of independent films, such as "Jenny" (1970) with Marlo Thomas, "To Kill a Clown" (1972) and the comedy "Nothing Personal" (1980) with Donald Sutherland. He also appeared in the Michael Sarrazin crime picture "Double Negative" (1981). Bloomfield also took direction of the television show "Adderly" (CBS, 1986-89). To help launch his Hollywood career, Bloomfield directed some television shows like "Adderly" (CBS, 1986-89). In addition to directing, Bloomfield appeared on the big screen as an actor in the horror movie "Spasms" (1986) with Peter Fonda. In the eighties and the nineties, Bloomfield devoted his time to various credits, such as "And Then You Die" (1987), "TekWar" (USA, 1994-96) and "EZ Streets" (CBS, 1996-97). Recently, Bloomfield directed "Adderly" (CBS, 1986-89). Bloomfield most recently directed "Wild Card" (Lifetime, 2002-04).
