John Shelton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Shelton landed roles in various films, including "Dr. Kildare Goes Home" (1940), "Keeping Company" (1940) and "The Ghost Comes Home" (1940). He also appeared in "We Who Are Young" (1940). His film career continued throughout the forties in productions like "Blonde Inspiration" (1941), "A-Haunting We Will Go" (1942) with Stan Laurel and the comedy "Whispering Ghosts" (1942) with Milton Berle. Shelton was most recently credited in the comedic fantasy "The Family Man" (2000) with Nicolas Cage. Shelton had a number of different projects under his belt in the forties through the eighties, including "The Time of Their Lives" (1946) starring Bud Abbott, "Square Dance" (1987) and "976-EVIL" (1989). Shelton was married to Irene Winston. Shelton passed away in May 1972 at the age of 58.
