Douglas Sheldon was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Sheldon began his career with roles in the comedic adaptation "Some Girls Do" (1969) with Richard Johnson, "The Spy Killer" (ABC, 1969-1970) and the drama "Ryan's Daughter" (1970) with Robert Mitchum. Sheldon next focused his career on film, appearing in the crime picture "Law & Order" (1978) with Derek Martin, "Snow White" (1987) and the Peter Ustinov thrilling mystery "Appointment With Death" (1988). He also appeared in the action film "Iron Eagle II" (1988) with Louis Gossett Jr.. Later in his career, Sheldon worked on "Interceptor" (1992).
