BIOGRAPHY

Former photojournalist and newsreel photographer-producer who served as a cinematographer with Fox (1915-26), MGM (1926-62) and Paramount. Ruttenberg was one of Hollywood's foremost directors of photography from the late 1930s through the 50s.
