Joyce- Jane Russell is still living. She lives in Montecito, CA which is a very wealthy, beautiful suburb of Santa Barbara, which is where I live. You used to see her on occasion around town, as you did Robert Mitchum, her great friend and fellow Montecito resident.

JANE RUSSELL HAD THE GLAMOUR AND THE ABILITY TO DELIVER A QUICK RETORT. HER FLAIR FOR COMEDY WAS DISPLAYED IN SEVERAL OF HER BETTER FILMS. COULD HAVE DONE BETTER IF GIVEN A GREAT DIRECTOR. HER SCREEN PRESENCE WAS ONE OF THE BEST OF THE 1950'S.

Jane Russell is a very under-appreciated talent. I believe truly that had she been given other choices as far as roles were concerned, she would at least have been nominated for an Academy Award, if not have won one by now! Why is she not working still....it's a shame!

I'm a dear fan of Ms. Russell. I would love to get every single movie that is avaible besides Gentlemen Perfer Blondes. I've been a fan since I was 12 years old and I'm going on 29 years of age. If I could get most of her movies for my collection it would be the best Birthday gift ever. Thanks Ms.Long
