Yvonne Romain worked in a variety of genres and built up a diverse and reputable career. Debuting in roles such as the crime adaptation "Pickup Alley" (1957) with Victor Mature and "The Curse of the Werewolf" (1961) with Clifford Evans was where Romain began her career in film. Film became Romain's next endeavor, appearing in the Sean Connery crime picture "The Frightened City" (1961), the Ronald Lewis adventurous drama "The Bridge of Kandahar" (1965) and the comedy "The Swinger" (1966) with Ann-Margret. She also appeared in "Double Trouble" (1967). Toward the end of her career, Romain acted in the Richard Benjamin mystery "The Last of Sheila" (1973).
