Kevin Rock was an accomplished actor who led an impressive career, primarily on the big screen. Rock worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Hell Night" (1981), "Howling VI - The Freaks" with Brendan Hughes (1991) and "Malcolm X" with Denzel Washington (1992). He also contributed to "Return of Superfly" (1990) starring Nathan Purdee, "School Daze" (1988) starring Laurence Fishburne and "Super Sunday" (1985-86). He shifted from film to television work through the early 2000s and the 2010s, appearing on "Criminal Minds" (2005-), "Parks and Recreation" (NBC, 2008-2015) and "Parenthood" (NBC, 2009-2015). He also appeared in "Law & Order: LA" (NBC, 2010-11) and "Kroll Show" (Comedy Central, 2012-15). Rock most recently acted on "Rake" (Fox, 2013-14).
